There's no permanent in this world but Change, today you hate the player that annoys but tomorrow or sooner you have to love him because he's in your team. Here are the list of ex-Ginera who had been hated by fans but loved after they came in with the team.
#5 Junthy Valenzuela
2008-2009 Barangay Ginebra Kings
Junthy is a gifted Small Forward that can really piss off most of the Ginebra fans. Not only because he's really good but also his looks like make someone's piss-off (He look-a-like with Diego of Bubble Gang) . Fans usually shout at him like 'Diego! Diego!' in every Barako vs Ginebra games.
Junthy ended his career with Ginebra because of his long-time injury and decided to call it quits. As Ginebra, he's still gets the love and respect from the fans and instantly from hated face on the court he's now the lovable person for the fans. Junthy also been part of the 2008 Fiesta Conference Cup Championships of Ginebra.
#4 Andy Seigle
2004-2007 Barangay Ginebra Kings
Who won't forget Andy Seigle rivalry with Marlou Aquino during the 90's ? Seigle is one of the hated players not only by other team but most of the Ginbera fans because most of the time he is hard-headed and second he is notoriously a Fil-am. During the Fil-Am vs Local conflicts, all eyes are heats up on most of the Fil-AMs specially to those new comers and dominating the locals.
In 2004 Andy joined with Ginebra and been part of their championship. In 2007 he retires because of emergence of new young big men like Rafi Reavis and Billy Mamaril in Ginebra.
#3 Vic Pablo
2007-2008 Barangay Ginebra Kings
Pablo was drafted second overall by Ginebra in the 1993 PBA draft. However, he was later traded to Pepsi Mega, in exchange for center Manny Victorino, when he held up in contract negotiations due to lower pay. He played with Pepsi for two seasons. Ginebra Fans were really mad with the trade after seeing Victor Pable is really a skilled and talented forward also during that time the Fans were trying to find a savior that will lift the team to the top.
In 2007 Vic Pablo became the part of Ginebra Championship, that year also became his last year in PBA. Though he didn't able to contribute like the way he was in his prime but his experience and veterans support helps the younger players to stay up.
#2 Johnny Abarrientos
2006 - 2009 Barangay Ginebra

Who won't forget Abarrientos the most wanted player in Ginebra in 1996 specially their rivaly in Governors Cup. Abarrientos was like in a God Mode during that season and aiming for their Grand Slam championship while Ginebra were newly reinforced by new young players lead by Marlou Aquino, Bal David, Vince Hizon and Noli Locsin. Abarrientos out matched all Ginebras guard including the younger Bal David however in 1997 Commisioner Cup finally the Gordons Gin (Ginebra) got their revenge vs Alaska.
As Ginebra, Abarrientos joined the team because no other Non-SMC team were interested with him. He played reserve role to lead point guard and 2009 Most Valuable Player Jayjay Helterbrand, as his court generalship gave additional factor in the Kings' line-up. The Flying A made a memorable moment when he surpassed Ramon Fernandez as the all-time leader in steals on February 5, 2007 as Ginebra defeated the Talk 'N Text Phone Pals and won their semis matchup, 4-2. Ginebra would go on to win the 2006-07 Philippine Cup against San Miguel, 4-2, with Abarrientos hitting a three-pointer in a crucial stretch of the final game.

Caidic made a lot history against Ginebra and one of those was having his PBA history breaking record for having consecutive triple shots in 1991 Ginebra vs Tivoli. Another made him hated by the Ginebra fans the incident in San Miguel Beermen vs Gordon Gins where Robert Jaworski shows in national TV his controversial hand gesture of 'Patay na ba?" when Caidic suffers an accident on the court and almost vomits, this made SMB fans heats up against Jawo.
In 1999, he became the playing coach of the Barangay Ginebra Kings after a sudden resignation of interim coach Rino Salazar.
In 2000, Caidic, as a playing coach, placed himself in the reserved unprotected player list for the Barangay Ginebra Kings to protect other important players in the team. The expansion team Red Bull picked unprotected players from the dispersal draft. They also drafted Caidic, and got the rights to Caidic. To avoid leaving Ginebra and playing for the Red Bull team, Caidic announced his retirement and decided to hang up his jersey that year

#1 Johnny Abarrientos
Height : 5'7The shortest to ever win the MVP no doubt he's the automatic Greatest Shortest player in PBA. During the 90's nobody realized that he's only stands at 5'7 because how he dominates the big guy with his ball handling skills with killer crossover. In his prime no wonder one of the NBA team had scout him for possible reinforcement. Right after his major injury, he came back and rejuvenate his career with Ginebra, he was old back but still shown to his team that he can motivate his team to win back to back championship for Ginebra.

He was also a member of the 1990 Philippine National Team which finished with a silver medal. He also played for Sta. Lucia (after being traded for Gerry Esplana) and Purefoods. Height : 5'8He's probably should go a bit higher because of his talents , skills and added the fact he's just a 5'8
short. Tenorio started the PBA under the radar but because of his Ball IQ and insane ball hanlding
he shown the league that he can make his own name in PBA. During his Alaska tenure he's been
considered to be the next Flying-A but it did not able to surpass the Legend title instead he made his
own name.

#5 Bernard "Tough Job" Fabiosa
Height : 5'9He was one of the first "pure" point guards in the PBA. The original "Sultan of Swipes", he was a seven-time steals champion, four (4) with Crispa, two (2) with Shell and one (1) with Great Taste. He also topped the league in assists in 1981. He was a member of the Mythical Second Team in 1984. In 1981 he was the league leader in assists. Fabiosa finished his PBA career with 6,597 points (8.4 points per game), 2,837 assists (3.6 assists per game), and 1,261 steals (1.6 steals per game) in 788 games played from 1975-1991 in 19241:00 total minutes played. He converted 1,414/1876 FTs for a career average of 75.4%.

Who won't forget The Flash David in every young kids in the 90's, he's like the living Small David
beating out the Goliaths during his era specially that big shot he did in the face of the Giant Asi. David may not be award straded star but his charisma and making of big shots making loved by fans. He has the most clutch shots during the 90's and not just ordinary clutch shots but Big Time and
contreversial.

#7 Eugene Quilban
Height : 5'8In 1991, Eugene Quilban joined Alaska from the rookie draft to bolster the Alaska squad. Jojo Lastimosa was acquired after being taken from Purefoods in a trade with Elmer Cabahug. After a third-place showing in the All-Filipino, they returned to the finals of the Third Conference against crowd-favorite Ginebra San Miguel and former Laker Wes Matthews. Alvarez, Lastimosa, and their teammates dominated the series that saw them winning it, 3 games to 1 for their first title in team history.
Alvarez was then eased out of the team when his one-on-one style didn't suit the new offensive scheme being enforced by Tim Cone – the triangle offense. Quilban later left Alaska for 7-Up, in which he led the team to a finals loss to Swift.

Height : 5'11
He's known to be as Ato'm Bomb because of his explosive shots to bombards their foes. Agustin is the only player to ever win the Most Improved in 1991 then an in MVP in 1992.
Agustin also had a ComeBack player award in 2000 in RedBull, a recognition to great players who's in hibernation for a long time.
He played for the San Miguel Beermen, Sunkist/Pop Cola, the Sta. Lucia Realtors, and finally, Batang Red Bull. Agustin was named a member of the PBA's 25 Greatest Players in 2000.

Height : 5'11Is the only pure Chinese to be included in the 25 Greatest in the PBA though he's considered to be Fil-Chinese later on . In 1975 the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce quickly awarded him as one of the four Most Outstanding Youth in the Chinese-Filipino community. Continually playing in professional basketball from 1975 to 1986, he was among one of the few elite Chinese-Filipino athletes in the
Philippines to be recognized as a superstar athlete and have inspired many youths to follow his footsteps.He is also one of the best players in the sports history of the De La Salle University varsity team.

Height : 5'11In 1997, Racela moved to the San Miguel Beermen in what became the turnaround of his young career. Under new San Miguel head coach Ron Jacobs, Racela's skills were noticed under a rebuilding Beermen squad of Nelson Asaytono, Freddie Abuda and Mike Mustre.
In 1998, Racela's game would improve and was rewarded with a spot on the Tim Cone-coached Philippine Centennial Team that took home a bronze medal in the 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand. A season later, with Racela as its top point guard, San Miguel became the league's new dynasty under Jong Uichico, winning five titles from 1999-2001.
After Johnny Abarrientos announced his retirement, Racela will play for another PBA season with San Miguel. He turned 40 on November 1, 2010 and was the senior statesman of the PBA during that season. He announced his retirement on January 28, 2011 at the Araneta Coliseum at the start of Game 4 of the finals. He had played the entire finals series before he hanged up his #17 jersey in which Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters subdued San Miguel Beermen in 6 games.

The original "Sultan of Swipes", he was a seven-time steals champion, four (4) with Crispa, two (2) with Shell and one (1) with Great Taste. He also topped the league in assists in 1981. He was a member of the Mythical Second Team in 1984. In 1981 he was the league leader in assists. Height : 5'10In 1985, a new team Formula Shell drafted him, aside from nabbing fellow PABL standout Sonny Cabatu in the said draft. He made a quick impact for the new but veteran laden Shell squad and won the Rookie of the Year honors at season's end. His average of 3.9 points per game for that season marked the lowest average for a Rookie of the Year awardee up to that time. During his stint at Shell, he played backup point guard for Bernie Fabiosa, Al Solis, then Ronnie Magsanoc. He later played for Pepsi and was out of the league after the 1993 season. In 394 games played, he averaged 4.5 points a ballgame. He was known for his three-point shooting.

Height : 5'8In 1991, Eugene Quilban joined Alaska from the rookie draft to bolster the Alaska squad. Jojo Lastimosa was acquired after being taken from Purefoods in a trade with Elmer Cabahug. After a third-place showing in the All-Filipino, they returned to the finals of the Third Conference against crowd-favorite Ginebra San Miguel and former Laker Wes Matthews. Alvarez, Lastimosa, and their teammates dominated the series that saw them winning it, 3 games to 1 for their first title in team history.
Alvarez was then eased out of the team when his one-on-one style didn't suit the new offensive scheme being enforced by Tim Cone – the triangle offense. Quilban later left Alaska for 7-Up, in which he led the team to a finals loss to Swift.

Height : 5'10He missed the first four games of the 2011–12 PBA Philippine Cup due to sore left knee. Upon his return from injury, he had slow start in his first few games as a professional, but eventually found his groove, helping Powerade reach the Finals against Talk 'N Text.
In his rookie season, he posted norms of 11.9 points, 6.4 assists, and 3.1 rebounds. These numbers though were not enough to give him the Rookie of the Year honors. Despite missing the Rookie of the Year honors, he was awarded Sportsman of the Year.
Prior to the start of the 2012-13 PBA season, Casio was traded to the Alaska Aces to replace the spot of LA Tenorio, who was traded away to Ginebra. In his first conference with the team, he averaged 13.4 points, 4.3 assist, and 3.5 rebounds. He also helped capture the 2013 PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals trophy, scoring 18 points en route to their 14th title, the first in the post-Tim Cone era. He was given the Sportsmanship award for the second straight year. The next season, he posted averages of 12.60 points, 3.53 rebounds and 3.02 assist per game, while providing steady presence at the point guard slot..
